How we started
Forest Lumen started with a belief that the people closest to the land should shape its future. We are working alongside Kenyan communities to restore ecosystems while building sustainable livelihoods and shared value.
Our Goal
Forest Lumen envisions an African movement of locally led climate solutions. We aim to grow through partnerships with communities, governments, and mission-aligned investors, advancing biochar, afforestation, and other carbon sink initiatives across Kenya and Africa. With rigorous MRV systems, we demonstrate that climate leadership can be locally rooted, globally trusted, and deliver both environmental restoration and community prosperity.
